The Handbook collects the most important research and studies done during the project “JUST-PARENT. Legal Protection for Social Parent-hood” and provides: an effective and useful toolkit for scholars, who wish to delve into the most important and current issues related to parenthood, and in particular those parental relationships not based solely on biological or genetic ties; a guide for legal practitioners (registrars, judges, lawyers, notaries etc.); and a model for national and European policy-makers.
