Steffen Hindelang
Steffen Hindelang is currently a Professor of international investment and trade law at Uppsala University in Sweden. He teaches and researches in the areas of international economic law, esp. international investment law, EU law and German public law. He is also faculty at the University of Southern Denmark and adjunct faculty at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Technical University Berlin. He is a senior fellow at the Walter Hallstein Institute of European Constitutional Law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and academic advisor to the International Investment Law Centre Cologne (IILCC). Previously, he was a guest professor at, among others, the University of Uppsala as a Riksbankens Jubileumsfond – Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung Swedish Prize Laureate, at Nagoya University, Bocconi University Milan, the University of Lausanne, the Charles University Prague, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), and the Turkish-German University Istanbul.
Elizabeth S. Perry
Elizabeth Stuart Perry is currently a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) of private law, particularly family law, at Uppsala University in Sweden. She researches and teaches primarily in the areas of comparative law and society, Swedish and American private and public family law, constitutional EU law, human rights, migration law, conflict of laws, legal pedagogy, and
legal research and writing (especially in legal English). She is also active as a guest lecturer at Umeå and Stockholm Universities. Previously she has been among other things a private attorney specialized in family law
representation in Los Angeles, California with the law firms of Trope and Trope and Law Offices of Elizabeth S. Perry, a general civil litigation specialist at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp, and a behavioral scientist at the Chicago Zoological Society as well as a guest lecturer at Riga Graduate School of Law, Latvia. “Family law across borders” being a central theme throughout her research, Elizabeth is very pleased to collaborate within the Just Parent project as the main project researcher on the UU team.
