The first workshop of the project JUST-PARENT, Legal Protection for Social Parenthood, winner of the grant funded by the European Commission under the JUSTICE PROGRAMME (2021-2027), will be held at the University of Milan – Bicocca, on March 7, 2022 from 2.30 p.m., carried out by the Consortium Universities of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Milan – Bicocca, Granada, Uppsala and KT Notare in Berlin.
In addition to the presentation of the project to students, legal scholars and practitioners, the workshop will be dedicated to the first analysis of the phenomenon of social parenting, in the light of recent pronouncements of the Constitutional Court, the Court of Cassation and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
The analysis will be conducted by Prof. Giovanni Iorio, scientific head of the project for the Milan Unit and Full Professor of Private Law at the Bicocca University, in dialogue with Dr. Stefania Pia Perrino, Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Private Law at the Bicocca University.
